Online Registration for Amarnath Yatra 2012 at www.jkbank.net




The Online Registration for the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2012 had started from 7th may, 2012.Interested yatris who wish to avail the online facility for yatra registration can log on to Official Website of JK Bank and follow the instructions provided there in order to carry out the Online Registration process.Here are few steps that yatris will have to undertake for availing the online registration facility for Shri Amarnath Ji yatra 2012

Before proceeding for Online registration, yatris are advised to go through the Advisory issued by Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board.Here are a few points that are issued by Shrine board as an advisory to yatris who wish to undertake pilgrimage for Amarnath Yatra 2012.

1). Yatris are required to submit a Medical certificate issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner (RPM) at the time of crossing the Baltal or Chandarwari check point.In case the yatris are failed to produce the Medical certificate along with e- yatra permit, then they will not be allowed to proceed further towards the holy cave.

2) Before proceeding for the yatra, yatris are required to go through the Do's and Don's for the yatra given of the Official Website of Shri Amarnath Ji Shri Board.

3) The E-Yatra permit that was generated at the time of Online Registration must be printed and preserved as it is the mandatory document for undertaking the Amarnath Yatra 2012.

4) A maximum of 5 persons can be registered online for a single booking.

5) Yatris are required to provide the Nomination details of the relative in case of death due to accident.

1) Log on to JK Banks Official Website .ie (www.jkbank.net) and on the Homepage, click on the link for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2012 Registration at the Right side bar OR You can directly open the Online Registration page at the link given below

2) On this page, a few steps regarding the Online Registration process are given, read these steps and click of the Next Button at the Bottom of the page

3) On the new page, the yatris will have have to check the availability for a particular date and particular route


4) After checking the availability, yatris will again have to Click on the Next Button and proceed further and on the New page, yatris will have to Fill their details along with the billing information and proceed on to the Next page

5) After that, you will have to accept the Undertaking, by checking the Button "I agree" and proceed further for Payment of Yatra Registration fee.The fee is Rs 15, that can be paid online through the Internet Banking facility.

6) After the Payment of Registration fees, you will get your E-Yatra permit card containing your Transaction ID and other details.The yatra permit card must be preserved and printed for future references

Amarnath Yatra 2012 dates have been announced and we feel delighted to announce that The Yatra registration is all set to start from the 7th May, 2012.This year for the time ever in the History of Amarnath Yatra that, registration will be done by the post offices. Earlier the Registration is done by three banks viz. J&K Bank, Yes Bank and District Co-operative banks. This is really a welcome step as those yatris who will have travel 100’s of Kms for Yatra registration will now be able to get themselves registered at near by places

Downloading the Application Form


 The first requirement for Registration is to get the Application form. The Application form is the only document that is used for Amarnath Yatra Registration.                                                     After Downloading, take the Print out of the Application form and fill all the details contained in the Application form with complete care.

Filling the Application Form:

Medical Certificate is Compulsory

Due to large number of Deaths of pilgrims at the time of performing yatra, Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board had made it compulsory for each and every yatri to produce a Medical Certificate certified by a Registered Medical Practitioner.No yatri without the Medical certificate will be permitted to perform the yatra.Yatris can downalod the Medical Certification from the link given below

Collecting the Receipt


After submitting the fully filled Yatra Application form along with the Medical Certificate, the bank will issue a Receipt containing the Yatra Registration Number, Date and Route of Yatra
