Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB),the sole authority for the management of Vaishno Devi Yatra has added Helicopter Service for its Yartris.For this purpose the Shrine Board had hired two most reliable operators from aviation industry i.e Pawan Hans and Global Vectra.The Flights operate from the Katra to Sanjhichat and vice-versa.Yes the Pawan Hens and Global Vectra Choppers will take you from the foothills at Katra and drop you at Sanjhichat which is only 2.5 Kms from the Vaishno Devi temple.

In the recent times the Shrine Board has slashed the rates of Helicopter service.Now the one way fare from Katra to Sanjhichat and Sanjhi Chat to Katra is only Rs 699/- per passenger.Helicopter Service can be availed by Yatris only through Online Helicopter booking from the Official website of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board i.e (www.maavaishnodevi.org).Here are some of the main points regarding the Vaishno Devi Helicopter Service.
