Yatra 2012 dates have been announced and we feel delighted to announce that The
Yatra registration is all set to start from the 7
th May, 2012.This
year for the time ever in the History of Amarnath Yatra that, registration will
be done by the post offices. Earlier the Registration is done by three banks
viz.
J&K Bank, Yes Bank and District Co-operative banks. This is really a
welcome step as those yatris who will have travel 100’s of Kms for Yatra registration
will now be able to get themselves registered at near by places

Downloading the Application
Form
The first requirement for Registration is to get the Application form.
The Application form is the only document that is used for Amarnath Yatra Registration.
The Application form can be downloaded from the Official Website of Shri
Amarnath Ji Shrine Board.Here is the Link for Downloading the

After
Downloading, take the Print out of the Application form and fill all the
details contained in the Application form with complete care.
Filling the Application Form:
The Application form is very simple to fill and contains the fields such as
Name, Gender, Fathers Name, Address, Mobile Number, Email Address etc.After filling all these details and other details, yatris will have to deposit this Application Form at any of Designated counters.Here is the Complete

Medical Certificate is Compulsory
Due to large number of Deaths of pilgrims at the time of performing yatra, Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board had made it compulsory for each and every yatri to produce a Medical Certificate certified by a Registered Medical Practitioner.No yatri without the Medical certificate will be permitted to perform the yatra.Yatris can downalod the Medical Certification from the link given below
Collecting the Receipt
After submitting the fully filled Yatra Application form along with the Medical Certificate, the bank will issue a Receipt containing the Yatra Registration Number, Date and Route of Yatra
